Classical Osteopathy Kimberley

Osteopathy is an alternative form of medicine that uses gentle, hands-on techniques to help your body heal itself. By assessing the body as a whole, we find areas of restriction (often away from where you feel pain) that may affect circulation and nerve flow. Like a kink in a garden hose, tight muscles or stiff joints can limit the flow of nutrients your body needs to function optimally. Each treatment is tailored to your needs and focuses on easing these restrictions to restore natural flow and support overall health. Osteopathy is commonly used for back and neck pain, joint issues, headaches, injury recovery, and to support sleep, breathing, digestion, and reproductive health. Please wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing.

🌿 Are there any contraindications?

Osteopathy is generally very safe. Please disclose any health conditions in advance via your intake form so care can be adapted appropriately. Treatment is not typically recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy.

🌿 Is osteopathy covered by insurance?

Our practitioners are OSTCAN-certified and treatments are eligible for coverage by most insurance providers. Please confirm your coverage before your visit. Direct billing is not currently available.

I began my healthcare career as a Registered Massage Therapist in Banff. Having grown up in Germany, I was exposed to osteopathic care early on, which inspired my interest in addressing the root causes of pain and tension rather than simply treating symptoms.

This passion led me to pursue a Master’s in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc) at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy West. Over four years of full-time study, I completed more than 4,200 hours of education and 1,000 hours of supervised clinical practice, meeting the World Health Organization’s highest standards. My training focused on classical osteopathic principles, emphasizing the relationship between structure and function and a precise, hands-on approach to restoring alignment and optimal movement.

I am deeply committed to helping patients achieve lasting results by supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and self-regulate.
